After numerous testing and rigorous quality assurance precautions, we decided to take steps to begin implementation at the start of November 2020. We are happy to announce the completion of this implementation to all cPanel hosting servers. You should now find the JetBackup icons on your cPanel.

What is JetBackup and how to use it?
JetBackup is a software that we use to back up our servers to a disaster recovery data center located at a remote geographic location. JetBackup does not give you the ability to download a current copy of your site as it is right now and only grants you access to the backups we've already taken. We plan on taking daily incremental remote backups to one of our remote data centers. This means there will be one restoration point each day. We plan on retaining each restoration point for 30 days, which leaves you with 30 restoration points at any point in time. Our retention policy is still under testing based on business need and cost, and it may change to be any where between 7 and 30 days, we will keep it at 30 days for now.
JetBackup Full Account Backups
If you want to generate and/or download a full backup of your account data or even partial backups of your account data at its current state, you can do that using the cPanel regular backup option. Go to cPanel Files section, click the Backup icon. If you need help with this, you can contact our support. JetBackup does not generate backups on the fly for the current account state.
JetBackup can restore your cPanel account at a previous state. If you are a reseller, this option is enabled for you, and you can restore the full backup to any of your customers as well. If you are an end customer, you will need to contact our customer support in order to perform a restore on your behalf. On your cPanel you will find the JetBackup Full Account Backups icon, just click it and note the date and time of the back up you want to restore, and ask the support team to do it for you.
JetBackup File Backups
JetBackup file backup gives you the ability to restore one or more files to a previous state, you can do this by opening your cPanel and clicking the JetBackup File Backups. On this page, you can view backups and access the backup file manager. This is a self service option, available to all customers.
JetBackup Cron Job Backups
JetBackup cron job backup section, provides you with a list of backups taken automatically by JetBackup during its cron job. This is an incremental backup that you can restore to. If you are a reseller, this option is enabled for you, and you can restore the cron job backup to any of your customers as well. If you are an end customer, you will need to contact our customer support in order to perform a restore on your behalf. On your cPanel you will find the JetBackup Cron Job Backups icon, just click it and note the date and time of the back up you want to restore, and ask the support team to do it for you.
JetBackup DNS Backups
JetBackup DNS backup section, will show you the list of the DNS backups. This can be useful if you have changed your DNS configuration and need to rollback to a past working configuration. Open your cPanel and click the JetBackup DNS Backups. On this page, you can view DNS Zone account backups and restore to any listed available DNS Zone configuration state. This is a self service option, available to all customers.
JetBackup Database Backups
JetBackup Database Backup section, will show you the list of the database backups. This is useful if your database got corrupted, you have the option to select the database that you want to restore from the list of available restore points. Restore your database to a previous working state with ease. Open your cPanel and click the JetBackup Database Backups. On this page, you can view database backups and restore to any listed available database backup state. This is a self service option, available to all customers.
JetBackup Email Backups
JetBackup Email Backup section, will show you the list of the email backups. This is useful if you deleted an email account by mistake or deleted the emails inside it and want to recover it, you have the option to select the email account that you want to restore from the list of available restore points. Restore your email account to a previous state with ease. Open your cPanel and click the JetBackup Email Backups. On this page, you can view email account backups and restore it to any listed available state. This is a self service option, available to all customers.
